Armed Forces of Ukraine recaptured nine settlements and “otkobzonili” 320 Russians – General Staff

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed the attacks of the Russian army in the areas of the settlements of Torskoye, Disputed, Soledar, Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Vodiane, Krasnogorovka, Maryinka and Novomikhailovka of the Donetsk region.

This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff.

Over the past day, the enemy launched 2 missile and 26 air strikes, made more than 80 attacks from the MLRS. More than 20 settlements were affected.

Aviation of the Defense Forces over the past day inflicted more than 30 strikes. The defeat of 25 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as six positions of enemy air defense systems, was confirmed. Also, Ukrainian air defense units shot down 15 enemy UAVs.

Rashists launched Shahed-136 strike UAVs, including from the territory of Belarus.

Over the past day, missile troops and artillery hit two command posts, one air defense position and one ammunition depot.

Meanwhile, the Russian invaders began to evacuate the so-called “state institutions” from the part of the Kherson region not controlled by Ukraine to Crimea.

“The occupiers are intensifying filtration measures in the Kherson region and have begun the process of evacuating the so-called “state” institutions,” the Ukrainian military command notes.

According to the General Staff, employees, property of banks and a pension fund are being taken to the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed another 320 Russian soldiers, eight tanks, 10 artillery systems and MLRS.

The occupiers suffered the greatest losses in the Bakhmut and Avdeevsky directions. From February 24 to October 17, the Russian army lost:

personnel – about 65,320 (+320) people liquidated;

tanks – 2537 (+8);,

armored fighting vehicles – 5205 (+12);

artillery systems – 1599 (+10);

MLRS – 366 (+1);

air defense systems – 187 (+1);

aircraft – 268 (0);

helicopters – 242 (0);

UAVs of the operational-tactical level – 1241 (+17);

cruise missiles – 316 (0);

ships/boats – 16 (0);

automotive equipment and tankers – 3969 (+10);

special equipment – 144 (+1).
