For the first time, the Sirpalekäsikranaatti hand grenade was seen on the fighters, which is interesting in that it is made from old 50-mm mines. Finland did not advertise the supply of hand grenades, just like other types of weapons that the Ukrainian army receives.
In addition to the old 50-mm case, the grenade also differs from the mine by the new JVA 1634 fuses.
At the same time, in the comments to the publication, the former Finnish military noted that the m / 50 is the latest grenade that they did not have during their military service.
At the moment, Finland has already transferred 9 military aid packages, but in most cases the government does not disclose details. It is only indicated that they are compiled at the request of the Ukrainian side.
