Easiest way to tell for the layman is to look at the roadwheels, the T64 has small widely spaced roadwheels. Also to my knowledge the regular Russian army has not deployed T64s if they even have any operational, only the Ukrainian army and the Donbass separatists have them (except for ones captured during the current conflict)
